WILL MORTGAGE RATES CONTINUE TO CLIMB?
The rates jumped to 6% in June, but have fluctuated since then around 5.5%. Prior to the pandemic, rates were around 4.5%.
WHEN WILL PRICES COME DOWN?
There are small subsets of the market where prices have fallen, but generally speaking, prices have continued to rise, though at a slower pace. See the chart below from Corelogic:
